Shawna Sowah is a Photographer and Styling Assistant deeply inspired by cinema. She draws creative influence from renowned photographers and film makers such as Petra Collins, David Lynch, Cindy Sherman, Stanley Kubrick, and Nadia Lee Cohen. Shawna’s exploration of fashion photography began during her time as a student at the University of Creative Arts in Rochester.

Her passion for visual storytelling has led her to attend prestigious events like the Cannes Film Festival and the British Film Festival, further expanding her knowledge of both photography and directing. Shawna has also gained valuable experience working in the film industry as a Unit Still Photographer and assistant on set. Recently, she has developed a growing passion for styling, which she’s been pursuing through assisting on set.
